The name rigatoni comes from rigato, or “ridged", and were designed specifically to collect sauce. Rigatoni are perennial favorites in southern Italy, especially in Sicily, and are typically the pasta for Sundays!

Cooking Advice:
Cook 6-9 minutes in boiling, salted water until al dente. Best to cook just shy of al dente, drain, and finish the last minute of cooking in your sauce to marry them.
